“We Are As Good As Our Tea” Said Lahiru Thirimanne

Sri Lanka is currently on the historic tour of Pakistan who is hosting a full series after ten years. Sri Lanka stand-in skipper Lahiru Thirimanne shared a video on Twitter, which went viral on social media. In this video clip, he trolled Indian fans saying,” We are excited about Pakistan tour. We are going to showcase that we are as good as our tea. Yes, you heard it right!! We are as good as our tea, Best Of Luck Pakistan.”

Indian fans were busy trolling Pakistani and Sri Lankan fans and players saying that Sri Lanka Cricket Board has sent their C team to Pakistan.

Lahiru Thirimanne got a chance to return it to the Indian fans, and he did it in style. His words reminded people the Indian pilot Abhinandan, who was captured by Pakistan Armed Forces earlier this year.

Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 2nd ODI Rescheduled

Sri Lanka has returned to Pakistan to play ODI cricket after ten years. They had not toured Pakistan since the terrorist attack on them in Lahore back in 2009.
National Stadium Karachi was set to host it’s first ODI since that unfortunate incident, but nature had other plans. It rained and rained all the day in Karachi, and due to weak drainage system at the National Stadium Karachi and some poor management by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the match was abandoned due to wet outfield.

The 2nd ODI of the three-match series was scheduled to be played on September 29, but keeping the weather forecast of that day in eyesight, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), just to make sure that the fans could have a game in their backyard, has rescheduled the match. Now the 2nd ODI will be played on September 30 at the same venue. Pakistani and Sri Lankan fans are hoping that the rain stays away so that we can have a game in National Stadium Karachi after ten years
