Haris sent Sydney Thunder’s well-settled batsman Matthew Gilkes back to the pavilion for 42 with a well-directed slow bouncer that was flicked straight into the hands of Sandeep Lamichhane, who ran a few yards to complete a fantastic catch. On the next ball, he removed the captain of Sydney Thunder, Callum Ferguson, with another slower delivery.

On hat-trick ball, Haris Rauf trapped Daniel Sams with a pacy in-swinger. The umpire’s finger went up straight away without any hesitation.

Haris Rauf claimed the second hat-trick of the day in the Big Bash League (BBL) after Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan picked one in the first game of the day.

The rising young-gun from Pakistan, Haris Rauf, has been in fine form during the Big Bash League (BBL) season nine. He has picked up 13 wickets in just four outings for the Melbourne Stars with an economy of six or less.

With the speed and accuracy, Haris Rauf has bowled in BBL season nine; he will be at the radar of Pakistan Cricket Team’s bowling coach Waqar Younis for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, which will also be played in Australia.
