Tamim Iqbal returns as Bangladesh announced the squad for Pakistan T20Is

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced 15 members squad for Pakistan T20Is. Opening batsman Tamim Iqbal was recalled to the side after recovering from injury.

Tamim Iqbal last played an international match during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Since then, he was out of the team due to injury. The experienced batsman was supposed to return for the India series, but he opted out of the tour due to personal reasons.

Bangladesh’s fast-bowler Rubel Hossain has also returned to the side. Hasan Mahmud, the 20-years-old fast-bowler, earned his maiden call-up for the Pakistan tour.

Bangladesh is set to play three T20Is, one-off ODI, and two Test matches in Pakistan between January and April. The series has been split into three phases.

The three-match T20I series will be played from January 24-27 in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
