Sri Lanka stand-in skipper Dasun Shanaka said in the post-match presentation after the 1st T20I that all the Sri Lankan players were ready to play Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 in Pakistan.
Sri Lanka thrashed Pakistan in the first T20I by 64 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. This was Dasun Shanaka’s first T20I assignment as captain, and he did exceptionally well to beat World’s No.1 T20 team in the absence of senior players.
In the post-match presentation, the stand-in Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka said that all the Sri Lankan players were ready to play the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan next year.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and all the PSL (Pakistan Super League) franchises have decided to host the entire 2020 edition in Pakistan. A lot of International stars have traveled to Pakistan in the last couple of PSL editions. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is hoping that the International players will agree to play the fifth edition of the league in Pakistan.

The Sri Lankan skipper expressed the joyful experience of playing in front of an exciting crowd. Shanaka, when asked about revisiting Pakistan in the future, replied,” there will be no issue in coming to Pakistan again; in fact, we are ready to play Pakistan Super League in front of the cricket-loving nation.”
Mohammad Hasnain Is A Great Future Prospect For Pakistan: Sri Lankan Skipper
For the young skipper, it was an overwhelming feeling to beat the best T20I team in their backyard. He said,” Winning against the world’s best team in T20Is is a different feeling for us. We stuck to our plans and played with a positive mindset.”
He was full of praises for the young Pakistani speedster Mohammad Hasnain, who claimed the hat-trick in the 1st T20I. Mohammad Hasnain became the youngest bowler to claim a hat-trick in T20Is. He achieved this feat at the age of 19 years and 183 days. Shanaka said,” Mohammad Husnain is a robust future prospect for Pakistan. He is a fantastic talent. And I really enjoyed watching him bowling with immense pace.”
