Shahid Afridi To Represent Qalandars In Abu Dhabi T10 League

September 22, 2019: Boom Boom is all set to return to professional cricket. Shahid Afridi will represent Qalandars in Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019.

 Qalandars have signed him as icon player for Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019. Shahid Afridi, who is known as Boom Boom in cricket universe, is once again set to return to cricket fields.

 According to the reports, Qalandars, the franchise owned by Pakistani businessman Rana Fawad was the last franchise to register for the tournament.

Qalandars management was pleased to welcome the star all-rounder. They tweeted:

Rana Fawad is also the owner of Lahore Qalandars, one of the six Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams. The iconic man also owned a franchise in Global League T20 named Durban Qalandars. Unfortunately, the tournament was unable to behold due to financial crisis by South Africa cricket board.

Abu Dhabi T10 League’s 3rd edition will commence from November 14, 2019. The Entire mini-entertainment event will be held in Abu Dhabi cricket stadium.

Shahid Afridi Owns A Records in T10 League

Shahid Afridi represented Team Pakhtoons in the first edition of T10 League. In the third edition, he has been picked by Lahore Qalandars as icon player.

As we all know, he always has something to chair for his fans. He didn’t disappoint the fans in this part of age. Evergreen Boom Boom has some records to his name in this format of the game. 

He is the first bowler to take three wickets in three balls in T10 cricket. He also smashed 50 of just 14 balls in this format of the game.
