Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited 19 probable players to the National academy Lahore for the preparation of the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, which will be played in two phases.
Bilal Asif, who finished as the leading wicket-taker in this year’s Quaid E Azam Trophy, has been invited to the camp. Bilal last represented Pakistan in a Test match against Sri Lanka back in 2018.
Besides Bilal Asif, Faheem Ashraf has been recalled to the camp. Faheem was dropped from all three formats last year due to poor performance.
The young fast-bowler Musa Khan is also invited to the camp along with Haris Sohail and Usman Shinwari.
The limited-overs skipper, Babar Azam, young fast-bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan will report to the National academy after the T20I series against Bangladesh.
Pakistan squad for the Bangladesh Tests will be announced after the T20I series.
