India has won 91 matches against their Asian counterparts, Sri Lanka, while Australia has defeated New Zealand 91 times in ODIs.
Pakistan celebrated the return of international cricket by taking over India and Australia in the record books. They beat Sri Lanka 2-0 in the three-match ODI series at National Stadium Karachi as the first ODI of the series was washed out.
In the third and final ODI of the series, Pakistan beat the Islanders by five wickets. This win was their 92nd win against Sri Lanka, most by any team against a single side.
Men In Green achieved this feat by playing lesser matches than the arch-rivals India. Indians have won 91 games out of 159 against the same opponents. Pakistan claimed one more win than India in 155 games – four matches less than India. Australia has beaten New Zealand 91 times in this format of the game. The Aussie took 137 games to claim these victories.
Pakistan Cricket Team is also ranked third in the list of most wins in ODI cricket. Team Green has won 486 ODIs. Only India (508) and Australia (573) have won more matches than Pakistan in this format of the game.
