Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the broadcasters list and commentary panel for the historic Sri Lanka-Pakistan series which will kick start from September 27.

Broadcasters List For Sri Lanka-Pakistan Series

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the list of broadcasters which will telecast Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 2019 series.

To help better understand the game, as many as six ultra-motion cameras will embellish the production. UltraEdge’s sound-based edge-detection and Hawk-Eye’s Ultra-Motion ball-tracking technology will assist the umpires.

  • Sony Ten will broadcast the series in Indian sub-continent
  • Ten Cricket will telecast the series in Singapore, Hong Kong, Caribbean, Sub Saharan Africa including South Africa, Middle East and Northbound Africa
  • Astro and Willow HD will telecast the matches in Malaysia and the US respectively
  • Sony UK will televise in the UK and Europe
  • DAZN and Fox Sports will telecast the series in Canada and Australia respectively

It Is Surreal Feeling To Play Cricket With Your Home Crowd Backing You: Wasim Akram

Former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram was very excited for the historic Sri Lanka-Pakistan series. Wasim said,” I am looking forward to this series as this is the first time in the last decade that a cricket team will be in Pakistan for two weeks. It is a surreal feeling to play cricket with your home crowd backing you.”

He added,” The success of this tour will be determined by the events that happen beyond the boundary. The fans should come out in large numbers which will help in defeating the negative perception about the country. Fans should also send out a rousing welcome to the Sri Lankans.”

Ever-excited Ramiz Raja said,” Watching the fans screaming and chanting boosts the players as well as makes commentary more exciting experience.”

Regarding his commentary stint, Ramiz said,” I have always enjoyed commentating in Karachi and Lahore. I hope that the passion and energy will be same when the first ball is bowled in Karachi on Friday.”

“This will go down as a historical series, and we all need to play a part in turning it into a success. I can’t wait to hear the buzz in the stands. It’s going to be exciting.”
