Melbourne Stars’ physiotherapist Tommy Simsek said,” Our priority is Dale Steyn fitness and continuing his treatment. He is very keen to play but we’ll let him rest after a long flight to Australia and put him in the best position to be ready for our match in Moe on Sunday.”
The will be the first outing for Haris Rauf in Big Bash League (BBL). Pakistan-born pacer came in the spotlight when he was selected by the Lahore Qalandars in the players’ draft for the 2019 Pakistan Super League tournament.
The young pacer also represented Balochistan at the Pakistan Cup 2019 and Northern at the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament. Haris has claimed 19 wickets in 18 T20s he has played so far.
