Pakistan Young fast-bowler Haris Rauf bowled an impressive spell on his Big Bash League (BBL) debut. He picked up two wickets for 20 runs in his four overs for Melbourne stars against Brisbane Heat.
Haris, who was roped in as a cover of injured Dale Steyn at the last moment, walked straight into the playing XI for Melbourne Stars in there very first match of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20 campaign.
While batting first, Melbourne Stars posted 167 on board. In the second innings, Haris Rauf came into the attack in 4th over. He picked up the all-important wicket of Max Bryant.

In the latter half of the innings, Haris came back to bowl 18th and 20th over. He superbly mixed up the short and full length to make sure that his side defends the target successfully.
The speedster from Pakistan bowled at an express pace. He clicked 145kph consistently. None of the Brisbane Heat batsmen could take him for runs.
Melbourne Stars looked impressed by the pace Haris Rauf generated in his first game of Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-20. However, the franchise, on twitter, appreciated comically;

Melbourne Stars’ skipper Glenn Maxwell, in the post-match presentation, praised Haris Sohail. He said,” Haris was outstanding tonight on debut. Feeling good.”
