Pakistan left-handed opening batsman Fakhar Zaman is pumped up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020. For the first time, the complete edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held in Pakistan.
Fakhar Zaman, who has been a prominent member of the PSL franchise Lahore Qalandars from the inaugural edition, is optimistic that Lahore Qalandars would do well in the upcoming season.
The fifth and the ‘most awaited’ season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kick starts from February 20 in Karachi.
Fakhar Zaman, in a video message, said
“I’m hopeful that we will perform well in the PSL, and we will finish on top in the league. We didn’t do well in the past, but we are hopeful of a better result this year.”
Fakhar added, “We are led by a new and young captain this season, and I’m confident that we will start the league with confidence and passion.”
Even though Lahore Qalandars, owned by Fawad Rana, has finished at the bottom of the table in all four editions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) but it has given some extraordinary players to the cricketing world.
Fakhar Zaman, the ex navy-man, is also one of the great finds of the Lahore Qalandars talent hunt program. Besides him, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf are also the finds of Lahore Qalandars.
