Cricket is returning to Pakistan with its full flow. Sri Lanka Cricket Team has arrived in the country to play the first test since March 2009. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also set to host Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 entirely in Pakistan. The draft has been completed. Star foreign players have agreed to play Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s former batting coach Andy Flower shared his thoughts on the efforts put in by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and security agencies.
As quoted by Pakpassion.net, Andy Flower said,” It’s essential foreign players take stories back with them when PSL 2020 is finished of how they enjoyed the experience of seeing Pakistan, interacting with Pak cricketers & people. By doing so, that’s fulfilling a significant role for Pakistan cricket & Pakistan.”
While talking about the cricket fans in Pakistan, their passion and love for the game, the veteran said,” The desire for cricket around Pakistan stands out, the vibrancy and the love and the smiles on people’s faces and the feeling generated in a full stadium makes it an absolute pleasure to be here.”
He discussed his involvement in bringing cricket back to Pakistan. Andy added,” Being part of bringing cricket back to Pakistan with the World XI & now the PSL coming back to Pakistan, I think that’s exciting. I like being a part of something that means a little more than just winning games & this fulfills that objective.”
